We have an unindexed “Clippings” file containing newspaper and magazine clippings arranged either by subject or alphabetically.

Searchable Document Index

The Society’s document collections (including deeds, photographs, ledgers, and scrapbooks) are now included in a searchable index of the document collections of hundreds of local libraries and historical societies, both large and small. Click here to see the listing of WHS’s collections or to run a document search of your own. This project is part of the Council on Library and Information Resources’ national program to identify and catalog hidden special collections and archives, to make this information more available to researchers and the general public.

Worcester Historical Society Library 

is a small non-lending reference library. Our contents are limited to donations and selected purchases.
